The Institute for Musculoskeletal Health and the Sydney Local Health District are running a telehealth research study for older people called the TOP UP Study. This study will be investigating whether physiotherapy telehealth can support older people to improve their mobility and reduce their falls.  We will be also investigating whether older people, like yourself, enjoy using an iPad or a similar device to see their physiotherapist.

The exercise programs that you will find on this website have been designed by a physiotherapist.  These exercise programs aim to help you to improve your strength, balance and your safety while walking.

If you are enrolled in the TOP UP Study your physiotherapist will recommend what program to follow. Always follow your physiotherapists' advice and remember that people need to do balance and strengthening exercises for about 2 hours per week  to see progress.
